The annual training is first and foremost an opportunity to give yourself a personal present – to enter an intense and meaningful development space which invites brave individuals who are prepared to surrender themselves to the art of holding space. In Nativ, we offer you an opportunity to encounter the different parts that reside within you. This is an invitation for a long date with a conscious presence behind the personality mask. Work with everything that prevents you from bringing forth your gifts to their fullest, and ultimately infuse a fuller and richer expression into your essence in the world.

This training does not focus on sitting and debating the theory of facilitation. This is an invitation to learn in an interactive and transformative manner. From emotional exercises through movement and expression, all the way to singing and acting, our participants learn through embodiment, meaning true somatic transformation.

The facilitator training focuses on leading group development spaces, and as such, it will deal with the group as one of the central dimensions of the teaching. The participant’s presence in the relationships formed within the group constitutes a mirror for the relationships in our lives, as well as fertile ground for learning to participate and hold space. Throughout the training we will deal with the emotional and mental content that arises within the group and amongst the participants, in order to better understand how the participants can hold the development spaces they will facilitate after completing the training.

Throughout the course, we will learn about 30 unique tools which lead to fundamental and attentive transformation in relationships. Our graduates mention that the tools acquired throughout the training accompany them beyond the professional field and into their home, romantic relationship and parenthood, where they create a new and beneficial movement.

The training offers an opportunity to create deep and lasting connections with the training participants and school graduates. Once you graduate, you join a community of graduates of the school in Israel and abroad, one that holds conventions, communal retreats, peer instruction sessions, and professional training. Nativ facilitator community is also an opportunity to create exciting collaborations, as well as an opportunity to continue the shared learning after the training is completed.

Seeing as the training deals with development spaces, we accompany our participants throughout the whole way, and focus on the intentions and personal goals and how we can reach them together. The course consultant accompanies the participants throughout the way with a facilitator team that provides mentorship in small groups, in order to enhance the personal experience.

In this stage, we will learn how to lay the foundations of a loving presence as facilitators, and how consciousness and warmth create a compassionate and attentive space for the participants. We will learn how to create a sense of belonging and security by creating a safe space, anchors of connections and taking-place methods. We will learn about body language and see how observing body language can help us better understand where our participants are. We will practice contact statements as a method of helping us encounter what is occurring within the emotional space and grace statements as ones that can help resource, support, and strengthen the participants. We’ll discuss resources and understand how connecting to strengths can support movement within the group. We’ll learn about breathing as a transformative tool.
At the completion of Stage A we will learn a series of group facilitation models such as EPR and FTI. We will learn about mirroring in a beneficial manner, and understand more about providing transformative tools through the body. We will assimilate workshop writing in a lesson titled From Ideas to Somatic Experiencing, which will focus on all the stages, starting from the idea all the way to the creation of an experience for the participants in the workshop space, and conclude this stage with a group facilitator tips session, based on vast experience in common facilitation mistakes and how to deal with them.
The second stage of the training focuses on advanced facilitation skills in the embodiment system. Throughout this stage we will learn techniques for working opposite resistance. Resistance is fuel, which can become a significant transformative opportunity when one knows how to work with it. We will get acquainted with the consultative field and practice working with it in the group space. We’ll learn about trauma work, and how to provide efficient, attentive and meaningful response to it in both one-on-one and group spaces, through resourcing principles. We will learn to work with the seven paths of experiential wisdom – instructions for action through that which is occurring at this very moment in the group, without planning in advance. We will discover more about humility, and how to create a healthy space at eye-level. We’ll discuss vulnerable facilitation and leadership. During the mirroring lesson, we’ll learn how to provide the participants with provisions for the road in a safe manner that would guide them to shed light of awareness into the dark and hidden. We will learn about the mindfulness-based four stages facilitation method. We will practice ‘carrying the frequency’ as what can assist us in affecting the space and making the somatic experience within our facilitation more present and effective. In addition to the tools from the embodiment field, we will acquire tools which focus on the creation of ceremonies and holding the ceremonial space, working with music as a tool for space holding, and working with voice as facilitation support. We will learn and exercise the seven personality types which provide us with comprehensive language that includes identification and analysis of an absent experience and ways of creating safe, transformative and integrative relationships.

During the third and final stage of the training, we will focus on personal experience as well as acquisition of tools that will enable you to lay the foundations for an independent business in the facilitation field.
In the workshop held at the end of the training, each participant will experience facilitation and receive clear feedback for their strengths and challenges as a facilitator. We will learn together, from each other, towards our emergence into the facilitation life.
Additionally, we will conduct skill workshops focusing on managing an independent business in the facilitation field – effective marketing, how to conduct registration talks, how to facilitate in the virtual space, etc.
