Class of 2023 - Berlin

Joshua Berg is a catalyst and guide for individual and collective transitions towards a culture of aliveness, regeneration and interconnectedness.
He is deeply interested in the intricate architecture of nature, exploring the emergent patterns and organic structures. Through practical application of this research, he develops frameworks for individuals, communities, and organizations that foster coherence, synergy, and wholeness.
He does so with one-on-one and group sessions, event production, and trough building connections among diverse areas and individuals committed to cultivating soul and nature-based culture.

I have been working, training and growing with Nativ for three years, and I am super grateful for how it has shaped my personal and professional life. From diving into the mechanics of transformational spaces and practicing powerful tools, to going on a very deep inner journey, meeting my shadows and wounded parts. It has supported me to rest with more ease into what it means to being a human in these fractured times.

In Nativ we practice first and foremost the art of holding space – may it be for inner parts, intimate relationships, work collaborations, or sessions led for groups and individuals.

This practice has deepened my authenticity, my integrity and my service – being myself while sharing my gifts with the world. I have made significant steps on the journey of asking for support, collaborating and relating, holding complexity, vulnerable leadership and serving the unfolding of the present moment – all qualities I believe to be crucial for these times of transition.

Breathwork Practitioner | Transformational Group Facilitator | Yoga Teacher

Carmen Iten is a breathwork practitioner, yoga teacher, and group facilitator based in Switzerland. She is dedicated to helping people discover what makes them feel fully alive and embrace their personal power. During retreats and private sessions, Carmen creates nurturing and warm spaces, setting the stage for transformative experiences to unfold.

Under the brand FULLY ALIVE, she collaborates with her partner Christian to guide individuals on journeys of self-discovery and personal growth. Together, they co-weave their expertise to support participants in connecting deeply with themselves and living more authentically.

The training with Shachar and Arynn gave me a much deeper insight into the journey participants undergo during our retreats. I learned new practices and tools that have helped me build a safe and welcoming space for everyone in the group, setting the stage for the transformational work we do together. The training also offered me a valuable framework for addressing participants’ resistance. This experience has been a significant step in my growth as a facilitator. Thank you!

Class of 2023 - Berlin

He offers private and group breathwork experiences and intuitive bodywork sessions. He organizes transformational retreats under the brand FULLY ALIVE together with his partner Carmen. He is part of the international faculty of Durga’s Tiger School. And he keeps weaving new experiences.

He is a certified practitioner of the Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System (BBTRS®), a Yoga Alliance registered teacher of Kaula Tantra Yoga (trained at Durga’s Tiger School in Ecuador), and a graduate of the Nativ International Facilitator Training with Shachar Caspi.

I look back at my journey with Shachar and Arynn, and deep gratitude arises. What a ride! A wealth of both personal transformation and growth as a facilitator. And connections and friendships that will last and impact me for many years.

What impressed me most was the authenticity of Shachar and Arynn – sharing themselves generously, with deep vulnerability, while at the same time holding the space with great clarity, safety, skill. Modeling what they teach: Facilitation from the crack, the place in us that feels vulnerable. And that this does not mean weakness, unsafety in the group, a feeling of shakiness; rather, that this takes facilitation to the next level. And that it opens many possibilities for transformation in the group.

Another key imprint for me was creating group experiences from the moment, working with what is alive right now, with what wants to emerge. And that when I trust myself and the group, magic happens.

During the facilitator training, we switched between a meta-level (theory, framing of tools, analysis of what just happened and so on) and actual group experiences. This way, the question “does this work?” quickly dissolved through tangible experience, through embodiment of what we learned. I do not know how better we could have learned about facilitation. And it also meant that it was an intense ride, integrating transformative experiences while at the same time learning about how to create them. I absolutely loved it!

My group facilitation has changed fundamentally during and after the training. I have woven many small and big changes into retreats and workshops, and the change in our groups was very tangible. Co-weaving with my partner Carmen, who also participated in the facilitator training, became more fluid, building on shared concepts, experiences and skills. And most importantly, I feel differently when facilitating, more open, vulnerable, more me.

“Studying with NATIV allowed me to settle more comfortably in my own dance of holding transformative spaces.
Building this spontaneously guided journeys & ‚choreographies’ both from joy, passion & curiosity around how to weave my own unique flavor and gifts, and in the same time resting in the feeling how much it is NOT about me.

NATIV facilitation training – which I had a pleasure to go through twice, both as a participant and assistant – opened my inner and outer eyes, my senses and creative channel for seeing the immeasurable potentials for working with always available resource and spaces; with our human’s diversity, our longings, needs and desires, gifts and stories – in order to bring more sense of belonging, empowerment and the ‚medicine’ needed in this moment.

Thanks to this training, creating spaces for individual & community growth, no matter if in a context of small, intimate groups or big festivals – became the piece of my ‚everyday magic’, where I can passionately show up, both by myself and co-creating with others, to be the ‚Love and Truth’ I want to see, embody and support in the world.”

“My passion is creating transformational spaces that support the emergence of a culture rooted in presence, connection and intimacy – with oneself, each other and the natural world. With a background in anthropology, holistic bodywork, and herbalism, I invite individuals on a journey of feeling, shapeshifting and taking part in life’s unfolding. I’m a Nativ facilitator, musician and I offer one on one sessions in Munich, Berlin and online. The Nativ Facilitator Training supported me in deepening my trust, confidence and refining my personal intention when holding space. The training offered me so many valuable tools and confirmations why I want to offer this work. It is incredibly precious to learn from people with yearlong experience when it comes to the art of holding space and facilitating transformational spaces or ceremonies. There is so much more ease and trust now when facilitating. Having Nativ facilitators in my community and it’s so valuable to exchange, review and support each other. That was the biggest gift: not being alone anymore but being surrounded by so many people as passionate about transformation and space holding as myself and having this incredible journey together, coming out as friends and colleagues.”

“Shachars international facilitator training was on so many levels transformative and valuable both for my personal and for my professional journey. I love the combination of deep self inquiry and very practical facilitation tools. What touched me most was to feel Shachars true desire to support individuals to bring their medicine into the world. At the end of the training I was sitting in the circle feeling full heartedly wanted in my full potential by every being sitting there with me, feeling embedded in a tribe of facilitators meeting each other with care and encouragement. I left the training with a strengthened relation to my own shadows and gifts, a deeper knowing about them and a deepened self-love. I left the training with a sense of belonging, feeling part of a wide international network of love and support. I left the training with a widened ability to perceive and to find creative potential in almost all I observe. I left the training with a huge bag of tools, supporting me in life in general, in my one-on-one sessions and in my work with groups. And I left the training looking back at four super beautiful, potent and transformative weeks, that I wouldn’t want to miss a single day of.”

“The training provided in this course helped me rise several levels above, meet my designation head on, and fine-tune the way in which I bring my gift into the world. As a facilitator that held monthly retreats, my participants felt my growth before, during, and after the course.

The acquaintance with Shachar created inertia of confidence and faith in my ability to hold an emotional space (whether personal or group), and contributed to my personal journey.
I am thankful for the opportunity to participate in the course (twice!) and generally, to be part of the international facilitation community created by Nativ School and recommend any space holder to meet with Shachar and undergo a transformative journey facilitated by him.”

“Many people raised their eyebrows when they heard I enrolled in the Group Facilitator Training Course in Nativ School. “You’ve been facilitating workshops and groups in Israel and abroad for a quarter of a century, what can you possibly learn there,” they asked-told me.

Deep inside I knew that I was looking for additional and different ways of looking at things and doing things. Fortunately, they were present throughout the course, from the first day to the very last.

The course was a very good choice which more than enhanced my toolbox, it broadened and deepened my field of facilitation.

The content and insights the course offers aim at a deeper level than the head and mind; and enable the graduates that choose to make use of them in their personal lives and in the facilitation worlds, to bring about healing qualities to a world in dire need of them.”

There’s no doubt that the training is something I highly recommend to anyone who asks. The tools and the confidence I gained throughout the training are beyond words. I received practical tools, inspiration, real emotional support, broadening of my horizons, and above all a community which is like home, and treads the path together in a real and supportive manner.

This is one of the best decisions I have made for myself as a facilitator and as a human on this earth, who loves to be sensitive and attentive to her environment and fellow humans. Shachar and the rest of the team demonstrated real, attentive, sensitive, embracing facilitation and teaching, which really touches the heart. I continue to be inspired by Shachar and the team to this day!

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful thing called Nativ <3

Accompanies transformative processes through rebirthing therapy and emotional support.

In 2012, I studied for my BA in East Asia, delved deeper into the philosophy of Buddhism, Zen, Dao and yoga. Since then, I have been studying and passing on the knowledge of oriental teaching, focusing on yoga and development and healing tools in the mind-body field.

It is a privilege to meet and connect with individuals as they are, pass on the knowledge I’ve received, and walk this path together.

“My year of studies in Nativ was a very significant year for me, as a facilitator, teacher, and especially as a human.

Beyond the practical tools I’ve received for group facilitation, I have connected with myself, with very deep places within me, which led to significant transformation in the way I facilitate and the way I tread this journey of mine in the world.

This year was a very complex year in Israel, and this course was like a gift for me, a safe and pleasant place to resource and rest. I met good friends for the journey, my heart expanded, and I was filled with inspiration. Shachar is a great teacher. He has vast knowledge, and he shares it humbly and professionally.

I wholeheartedly recommend anyone that holds transformative spaces to go through this experience.”

“For several years now, I have been debating registering for Shachar Caspi’s group facilitation course. This year, with the war, I felt that although I’m already facilitating retreats and workshops, I need to bring in more depth and want additional tools to deal with the situation. I decided that I’m registering, that’s it.

The course supported me professionally and personally, and I discovered a lot about myself and my abilities. I learned so many new things, and I see how differently I facilitate the retreats and the depth I bring into it.

I had such a significant year and met friends for life. I received support I never thought I’d receive – both professionally and emotionally. The team and the participants were there for me at any given moment, and the feeling that I am part of a true community accompanied me throughout the course.”

Class of 2022 - Israel

Dancer, choreographer, and group facilitator.

Lives in Jaffa. Dancing and creating in the contemporary dance scene in Tel Aviv for the last 10 years. Today, he is finding his unique voice as a dancer and a group facilitator.

Believes in movement as a simple tool for profound healing, and in our immediate ability to connect with ourselves through dance.

“The moment in which an individual chooses another individual and agrees to step in their path and learn from them is a magical moment, in my eyes.

I was searching for a way to refine what I want to give, understand myself better in order to shine brightly. I felt that there was a different way to touch people.
I met Shachar, who invited me to ‘study’ myself in a facilitator training course.

This course is so much more than the content it conveys. This course is the product of a true calling. It is the purification of the belief in the act of group facilitation and holding space, Shachar’s understanding that there is another way of leading and that it’s so important that other people are exposed to it.

I know now that I have taken part in a shared journey for the essence of the simple truth, that we are all first and foremost people. We hurt, we are vulnerable, we are moving – and the way to the heart of another must pass through my own heart.

After a two-year delicate and uncompromising process, like a wide river flowing safely, I have found my facilitation path, through the vulnerable and loving person that I am.

That is a gift I wish for everyone, whoever they are.”

Loving presence, sensitivity, and attention to detail are part of what enables her to touch hearts and motivate significant transformation.

“The best present I gave myself was to join Shachar Caspi’s group facilitation course.
I got there 4 years ago, feeling that something within me is stuck, and I can’t bring myself forth and express myself fully.
I was looking for a course that would support me in any profession I choose to engage in and in my everyday life and found exactly that.
During these years I’ve learned so much about myself, my abilities and the gifts I have. I also learned how I can share them with others, and support others’ journeys and empower them on their way.
This course provided me with diverse tools from the conventional group facilitation field alongside tools from therapeutic fields such as psychotherapy, drama therapy, non-violent communication, family constellation and shamanism. I am also thankful for all the unique people and new friends that came into my life through this course and are now part of my closest circle of friends and my community.”

“The course training helped me understand many things that felt intuitively right in my facilitation, but I didn’t know how to name them, when and where to pull them out. The tools provided by Shachar help me understand the spaces I create in a more profound way, as well as direct the group to a place I feel is right for the participants to be in, in the most precise manner. In my eyes, Shachar is a life mentor, and our sessions were the kind of meetings that are greater than can be put into words. I am grateful that my path has led me to study with him, and I’m curious to keep walking the path as his assistant in Berlin.”

“Nativ Facilitation Training Course is groundbreaking in my eyes, because it teaches facilitation not through the mind but through the body and emotions.
