About

The School and its Uniqueness

Nativ International School was founded by Shachar Caspi in 2017 and is the first and only of its kind in Israel, which focuses on training facilitators in the embodiment method.

Up until now, the school has trained more than 250 facilitators of development spaces, in the framework of twelve annual international courses. Our graduates facilitate hundreds of workshops, courses and retreats a year, and accompany the healing and development processes of thousands of people in Israel and abroad.

The school was founded after a demand for group facilitator training and mentorship from Shachar was created. Throughout the years, many group facilitators have come to study with Shachar and receive inspiration from the manner in which he facilitates and holds transformative spaces. After a period of mentoring and providing personal training for graduates of his courses and retreats, Shachar decided to open Nativ as the official school for group facilitator training.

The unique nature of the school lies in the integration of different approaches from the spiritual, therapy, and development fields into one program. The program was written by Shachar Caspi, and is based on great practical experience in facilitating workshops, courses and ceremonies in Israel and abroad.

Nativ

Leading Values and Qualities

Nativ School was built on the foundations of the four values which are at the very heart of facilitation and in the spirit of connected leadership, enabling in-depth, meaningful and safe transformation for the participants:

Humility

Humility

“I shine simply by being and I don’t have to prove myself.” Meeting the participants at eye-level, and agreeing to bring forth my humanness as a facilitator in an open and safe manner into the group space.

Vulnerability

Vulnerability

Even as a facilitator I have an emotional body and I am a human who feels everything. I get hurt, I withdraw, expand, and get excited, and my emotions are an important part of the group space I facilitate.

Truth

Truth

We are prepared to truly meet ourselves in the group space. We have powers and gifts which emanate from strengths, and we have strategies and patterns which emanate from blows we have suffered. We create a safe space that enables meeting the different parts within us and the loving presence that holds it all together.

Depth

Depth

We are here together, with willingness to reveal that which is at our roots. We not only expose the branches, but dive in together, in order to enable true, rooted and beneficent development for each and every individual. We aim to meet our core materials with a loving presence in order to create transformation in the entire system.

Our training programs take place in Israel (Pardes Hana) and Germany (Berlin).

Shachar Caspi

Shachar Caspi, founder of Nativ School, facilitates and teaches development and transformation in relationships.

He began his journey in the development field about 15 years ago, when embarking on a prolonged period of practice in Guatemala (and in Israel later on), which included long retreats and initiation, meditation and seclusion journeys. After landing in Israel, with the desire to delve deeper into the journey, Shachar specialized in mindfulness-based psychotherapy studies in Hakomi Institute, seeking further understanding of resourcing and trauma therapy. More than anything, Shachar defines himself as a researcher of love, vulnerability, truth and depth, who continues to expand his learning into further fields and spaces.

Shachar wrote the book, “The Art of Holding Space”, which can be found in both Hebrew and English, and helps guide many group facilitators in Israel and abroad.

Together with the facilitator training in Nativ, Shachar nowadays offers his teachings to different and diverse groups – from business teams and organizations interested in embracing the language of connected and attentive leadership, to groups interested in experiencing tribal ceremonies together, as well as couples wishing to increase the openness and communication within their relationship.

To Shachar Caspi’s website

“I understand now that the most generous quality I bring to every meeting or session, whether it be couples therapy, a workshop in an organization, or a group facilitator course – is holding the space. I teach people how to hold a safe, honest and brave space for themselves and for all other relationships in their lives, in which they aspire to change within and alongside.”
